Behind the scenes: My favorite dates.

1. My number one date kinda surprised me. It wasn't fancy and we didn't spenda lot  of money either. We were really good friends who always enjoyed hanging out. He picked me up like he always did except this time he found me and had a single rose in his hand. We walked hand in hand in a simple bliss as we made our way to his car. We headed for ice cream ad laughed over stories from our childhood. Then as we mulled over what to do next we ended up deciding to go to Walmart and make up stories of why the people were there and what they were doing. They were so random and funny! Not that the relationship went anywhere after that but I hope he knows that night will always be close to my heart.

2. My second favorite date is much more elaborate! It was prom night and it was my senior prom, I was so nervous! My dress was gorgeous. It was a floor length black dress with a light pink floral design. It felt very vintage which was perfect for the night that I would feel like a princess.

It all started with pictures of course. We met at the place we were taking pictures because my mom is a photographer. He gave me my corsage and it was beautifully hand crafted by his mother. It was the one thing she wanted to contribute.

After all the flashes had stopped he led me back to the car. I had no idea what he had planned. He held a blind fold in his hand and his famous crooked grin on his face. He twirled me around and wrapped the blind fold around my eyes and gently placed me in the font seat. He ran around the car and jumped in the drivers seat his excitement still undeniable even under my blind fold. He reached for the radio and turned on a cd that he said he made especially for our date. I still remember the first song. "Out love is unconditional I've known it from the start." Tears filled my eyes already and a smile had permanently landed on my face. He drove around for what seemed like forever. Later he told me he made a lot of extra turns so I would have no idea where we were going. The car went down what felt like a very rocky road and finally it came to a stop. He asked for me to give him a second and them he was out of the car. Finally after a few tantalizing mins he opened the door ad pulled me out of the car. As he lifted the blindfold off my eyes he said "when I thought of where to go I couldn't think of anywhere better then where it all began." I opened my eyes to see that he had set up a beautiful picnic covered in rose petals, on a hill over looking the ranch where we met. That wasn't even the biggest surprise. He had all my favorite food and even spent the time to cut the strawberries into little hearts. Then he got out his guitar and sang the song "then" by brad paisley except he rewrote the lyrics to fit our story. I truly felt like a princess and I could have skipped the prom and still had a beautiful night.

Although this relationship lasted quite a long time it wasn't meant to last forever. He is now with another beautiful you g lady and they are engaged to be married.

3. My third favorite date was a simple one again. This one had no glamor or sparkle. Just a fishing pole and a big truck. Something about the stillness of the water and beauty of the nature around us made for the perfect date.

We didn't last either, obviously. We just weren't compatable although he was an amazing man!
